I purchased this product in January 2009 and today it just paid for itself! My laptop crashed due to a hacker and I lost EVERYTHING! I was able to restore all my files, pictures and over $150 worth of songs I had downloaded from ITunes. No one should hesitate to buy a ClickFree product! I would recommend it as a gift for anyone and everyone!!!

You don't have to know a single thing about computers to use this device. If you can plug it into your computer, you've got it done - the device does the rest. You can continue to use your computer while the backup happens in the background. I liked this so much I just bought the bigger device, the 750GB. But this one will meet your needs just as well.

I freely admit that I am technologically stunted. As such, I was quite dubious when I watched Shawn describe how easy this would be to use. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try, hoping that all the claims were true. I have a Dell laptop from 2003 with Windows XP. When I first plugged in the ClickFree, I waited and waited, and nothing happened. Then, I restarted the computer and plugged into BOTH USB ports (provided). This did the trick! In less than 20 minutes, all of my files were saved. Although I had a little panic attack, when the ClickFree did not automatically start up on the first try, this WAS easy to use. I give it 5 stars for the peace of mind! In my 15 years as a QVC shopper, I consider this to be my best purchase ever! -BY

I am soooo glad to have purchased this! I have thousands of pictures that I had been saving on disks.....sigh. This was EXTREMELY easy right from the start........just plug it in and leave it to back up. Everyone needs one of these. I lost a computer a few years back that caused chaos for my business life because it was not backed up......thank goodness I didn't have the major stuff on that one! You will not be sorry for this purchase.

This has been by far the best thing I have purchased for my computer needs. I cannot believe just how wonderful it is and I don't have to worry about any files getting lost or having to download pictures or print them out. I would and will give this to any person I love. GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT and idiot proof, just plug it in, follow the on screen directions and it does the rest.

I ordered this device after seeing it on tv. I read some reviews after it was already ordered and some of the reviews stated that it wasn't able to work with a 64-bit vista operating system. For me, it worked just fine. Whatever issues they were having on a 64-bit system previously, were worked out by the time I received mine. It works just like they say it works! You just plug it in and let it do its thing! Its great and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I bought this ClickFree months ago and it just sat in the package unopened. I finally opened and used it this week when I received my new HP TSV Laptop. It really is as easy as they say. It makes me wonder why I didn't use it much sooner. In addition, I backed up 3 other computers we have and still have tons of space to back up more. I haven't figured out to use it to transfer files to another computer - but I am sure the info is there in the instructions. I think this is a wise purchase and everyone should get this. I was really upset when I lost all of my files, photos and music last year when my main computer crashed. I truly regretted I didn't have the info backed up. Just Annie

System is extremely easy to use; plug it in and let it do it's thing. It did take a long time to back up the data the first time I plugged the unit in, however, every time since, it's been extremely quick (I back up once a week). This little tool is a life saver as my home computer recently crashed - without the back-up data stored on this device I would have lost all my photos, song and book downloads, not to mention numerous documents. Once I fixed the home computer, I plugged this little gem in and simply hit restore and all the files were quickly downloaded. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a computer.

Last Month was a doozy! I am currently looking for employment and really am dependent on my computer right now; when WHAM! of all sudden, my computer hard-drive crashed! After having a new hard drive installed by my IT Tech and he RELOADED all the XP operating systems/programs, we plugged this baby in and WOW - everything WAS saved and backed up just like they said. Sure made getting back online a cinch. Thanks QVC - I'm very happy I'd made this purchase.
