What is ClickFree?
ClickFree is a monitoring app cum spy solution for Android and iOS. The app allows you to secretly monitor your target’s smartphone or tablet activity from your web browser, after you install the app to work with the a user’s device. You receive periodic activity updates. The app is mainly used as a parental control solution, but people with relationship problems and employers with bad employees also occasionally use it.
How does the ClickFree for Android app really work?
The Android version of ClickFree is a 2MB software app you download and install on the user’s device. Once the installation is over, you are given the choice to hide the app. The app will then run in the background invisibly, recording the user’s activity and transmitting the data to your online ClickFree account.
You can monitor the user’s device from your web browser conveniently. You receive periodic updates. You don’t need to root the user’s device. The app works invisibly, is small, and doesn’t drain the battery, making it impossible to detect.

Where can I use ClickFree from?
You can use ClickFree from any smartphone or PC web browser. There are no location-related, carrier, or network restrictions. As long as the target device connects to the internet every once in a while, you will receive monitoring data.
What Android versions does ClickFree work with?
ClickFree is compatible with Android versions 4.0 and up, on both smartphones and tablets.
Do I need a ClickFree account to use the ClickFree app?
Yes, you need an account. This is where you control the app, access the data, and uninstall the app later if necessary.
Will the ClickFree icon be visible on the user’s phone after installation?
You can choose to hide it or keep it visible. If you hide the app, it will disappear from the app drawer as well as the installed apps list. You will need to enter a special code to bring it up again.
Is ClickFree legal?
Yes, the ClickFree app is legal to download. However, there may be some restrictions as to its use in your country. In the US, the app is legal to use to monitor children. Employers can use it monitor company phones with permissions required. Check with local laws before you use the app.
Can you install ClickFree remotely?
You can install ClickFree remotely on iPhones and iPads. It’s not possible to install it remotely on Android devices. No app in the market has this feature. But you can install ClickFree in minutes and then quickly hide it. Afterward, you never have to touch the device again.
How can I install ClickFree on the user’s device?
You can install ClickFree with the help of any smartphone or PC. You will need brief physical access to the target Android device.
You won’t need to root the device. You just need to change some settings. You may get extra features if you decide to root the device.
Make sure the “Allow installs from unknown sources” option has been enabled. This is under the Settings menu.

How do I uninstall ClickFree from the user’s device?
You can uninstall the app with one click from your remote online account. If you have the phone in hand instead, look for the Settings > Security option. Go to Device Administration > Update Service > Deactivate. Go to Apps > Update Service, find ClickFree, and choose Uninstall.
How do I keep tabs on the user’s device?
You can track the user’s device from your dashboard once ClickFree has been installed. Log in to the ClickFree dashboard from your PC or smartphone web browser, which is the control panel. The dashboard provides a quick look at device activity, while individual features can be found in the menu on the left.
How do I pay for ClickFree?
You sign up for a subscription by using any of the usual standard payment avenues. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, and more. You can use apps like PayPal, JCB, and Giropay for international payments. Upon request, we accept vendor-to-vendor, fax, and purchase orders.
Your payment options depend on your country of residence.
Will my bank statement reflect ClickFree?
No, it won’t. We realize some of our customers wish to remain anonymous. Your bank statement will reflect the name of the developers, not the app.
What happens after I purchase ClickFree?
You receive an order confirmation in the email address you used during registration. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. Wait for an hour before contacting us if you don’t see it. We also send you a welcome email with your login information, a link to the ClickFree installation guide, and instructions on accessing the control panel.
What if I need a refund?
Get in touch with our customer care, we’d be happy to assist. Also please make sure your request complies with our refund policy.
How often does ClickFree refresh the monitoring information?
The monitoring update frequency is once every 24 hours, provided the target user’s device connects to the internet. You can manually adjust the frequency on rooted devices to as little as 10 minutes. We don’t recommend this because it consumes too much battery.
Does the device I want to monitor need an internet connection?
It needs an internet connection to transmit new data, but not to actually spy on the phone. The data will only be updated in your account when the target device connects to the internet.
How many devices does ClickFree let me monitor?
That depends on your subscription. The Premium plan lets you monitor a single device, while the Family plan works with multiple devices. Check your individual plan for details.
Do I have to jailbreak a target iPhone to use ClickFree?
No, it’s not necessary to jailbreak a target iPhone to use ClickFree. But ClickFree also works with jailbroken devices and may offer extra features, depending on the operating system.
Won’t jailbreaking cancel the warranty? Can I reverse the process?
Yes, jailbreaking does void the warranty. We don’t recommend it for that reason alone. However, jailbreak is possible to reverse. There are several tutorials available online that show you how. Apple may still continue offering the warranty if you reverse the jailbreak.
What does rooting and jailbreak mean?
Rooting and jailbreak are terms that refer to making changes to the phone’s operating system to get administrator-level access. Once you make changes to the OS, you can spy on the phone better. It’s a complicated process, though.
How do I know if monitoring software has been installed on my phone or tablet?
The only real way is to keep an eye on your phone and see if it behaves strangely. If it keeps switching up, overheating, and has a flickering screen, chances are it has a spy app on it. The only reliable way to get rid of a spy app is to factory reset the phone.
Can you help my find my lost phone or tablet?
If ClickFree was installed to work with your device, you may still be able to track it from the control panel. Look for the Location and SIM card options in the selection menu to the left. We recommend turning this information over to the police.
